Welcome Back!

Fireworks and a celebration

Welcome to Epolitics.com! This site has covered digital politics and advocacy since 2006. I’m Colin Delany, site founder and a 27-year digital politics veteran. I’m also a consultant, speaker, trainer and a follower of all things digital and politics, and I’m excited to kick us back into gear after a long sabbatical.

While the site has been taking a break, I’ve been writing a monthly digital column for Campaigns & Elections. I’ve also been getting into campaign consulting in a serious way. Since I started in the world of digital politics during the dot-com boom, I’ve mainly worked with nonprofits and advocacy organizations. But through my work with The Hometown Project, I’ve now been able to dive deep into digital advertising and digital organizing for candidates as well as causes.

In the weeks to come, I’ll post links to Campaigns & Elections pieces and other stories we might have missed along with the way. I’ll also be commenting more regularly on developments in digital politics as they happen, and I’m planning to convert the old Epolitics email list into a Substack newsletter echoing the content that appears in these pages. More than 80 contributors have written pieces for this site in the past, and I’m excited to start welcoming back guest authors as soon as I sort out the logistics of the site relaunch.

Thanks for coming along! If you’re a long-time reader of Epolitics.com, thanks for hanging in there. If you’re new to the site, welcome aboard. Who knows what’s going to happen next.
