This is great stuff. Excellent commentary. The Obama campaign would definitely benefit from your proposed statement. 

In fact, campaigns need to develop their war rooms to be prepared to respond to these type of Internet humor sensations in kind: thoughtfully, wittily, and deftly. I&#039;d imagine that most campaign press people would tell you though that releasing a response to one just invites others to go after the campaign so they can get their own response.

But there comes a point where something that is relatively flattering like this can be used to your advantage and I think smart campaigns will begin to develop aspects of their internet campaigns that do.</description>
